Tues 8th Sept - #105. Dust
I had only been a disciple of Jesus for around 6 months when I asked my pastor what his favourite Bible verse was. He replied Psalm 103v14: “_for he knows how we are formed, he remembers that we are dust_.” I asked, “Why?” He replied: “It tells me that God understands me as I am.”
Frail children of dust, and feeble as frail,
In thee do we trust, nor find thee to fail:
Thy mercies how tender, how firm to the end,
Our Maker, Defender, Redeemer and Friend.
