Caring For Life (CFL) Supporters Day 2021
After 2 years of restrictions due to Covid finally Caring For Life was again able to hold its annual supporters’ day. The day dawned bright and clear with no rain forecast! As we approached CFL we wondered how many folk would come along, what projects would be open, how would the main supporters meeting be organised and what catering facilities would there be while still adhering to current restrictions.
We need not of had any concerns even as we approached the welcome tent you felt the peace and calmness of a day well organised who sole aim was to be bring thanks and praise to our Lord and Saviour.
As we visited many of the different projects, each one having a one way system and limits on numbers, it was a joy to be able to speak with the beneficiaries and hear from them how they had coped during lock down and how CFL had supported and encouraged them but most of all how pleased they were to be coming back to the farm and meeting up with folk again.
After lunch the main meeting was held in the PAM building where over 300 gathered to give praise to God for the work of CFL and to hear how God had guided and upheld them during the last 34 years and more especially over the last 18 months.
We both felt privileged that we were able to join in this very special celebratory day
