Our Morning Service Sun 18th Oct 2020
Back to Hook Church after 7 months away.
We so enjoyed worshiping together, and sharing this live Service with those listening on Livestream.
As we arrived….
Tim Neale, our Pastor of Youth and Young Families, gave our Children’s Talk. Tim spoke about God creating a perfect garden, the Garden of Eden - Tim had invited people to send in pictures of their gardens - see a few pictures below!!
The music group played the songs. Bethany was the lead vocalist - her singing of the final song: ‘How Great Thou Art’, was so powerfully moving. The congregation stood while the songs were being sung.
Pastor Paul Pease preached on Psalm 29.
The voice of God, observed in the powerful thunder, recognising the Creator God (v3-8)
the Glory of God, ascribing glory to God, as we wonder at His power (v1,2,9)
Strength and Peace is what we receive through the storms of life: as we look up to Him: and ascribe Glory to Him (v10,11).
Halleluyah! Praise God!
How wonderful it was to be able to able to worship from our Church building. and also to Livestream our Service near and far!
